Clinical Financial Services, LLC (”CFS”) was a startup specialty finance provider of factoring and financial management services to contract research organizations (“CROs”) and certain pharmaceutical companies. CRP secured and closed a unique hybrid credit facility allowing the Company to refinance and replace its existing “seed investor” provided credit facility, support working capital requirements, expand the purchase of additional high-quality receivables, and accelerate growth. At the time there were few competitors in this specialized market niche, a $7 billion dollar industry growing at a 16% annual rate. CFS ultimately expanded into contract and regulatory services and global payments services within the clinical trial business management sector. CFS was ultimately sold to a UK passed rollup in the clinical trial services sector resulting in significant returns to CFS stakeholders.
