Long Reach, a forklift attachment manufacturer and Debtor-In-Possession in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas Dallas Division, was a portfolio company of a failed private equity rollup strategy focused on the materials handling vertical. After filing for Bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code CRP was retained by the debtor to initiate and coordinate the sale of the estate’s assets. CRP after marketing to multiple potential buyers sold Long Reach through a 363 Bankruptcy auction to Allied Systems Company, an engineering and manufacturing company which owns several material handling equipment lines in the marine, forestry, construction, coal and agricultural industry. Long Reach Attachments operates to this day as a product line of Allied Systems Company.
